That’s why it’s excellent news Giles Goddard, the programmer who worked for Nintendo on the original Star Fox, has founded his own development studio, Chuhai Labs…and you’ll be thrilled with what they’re making. Wild Blue — a spiritual sequel to Star Fox with everything but the official name! If we were flying jets right now, we’d all be doing barrel rolls.
You are Bowie Stray, canine leader of the sky fighting team known as the Blue Bombers, on a mission to lock target and fire on the forces of the evil Baron. The setting is on Earth (or an anthropomorphic equivalent), not in space, but that doesn’t mean the environments won’t get exotic…oceans, deserts and cave stages are mentioned. This game will be totally on rails with no unnecessary side missions or ground levels — just like Papa Goddard used to make.
