which do you like more? dramafever or viki?
I get asked this question a lot… >.> And to be very honest… I don’t really have a “one-way” or “best” answer for it. It really depends on what you’re looking for.
Viki, in a nutshell, is a lot more “diverse” with the subs, comments section, and the selection of dramas. Honestly, some people prefer Viki over Dramafever because it’s more interactive and the subs are great for understanding cultural context that gets lost in translating.
Dramafever is more “exclusive” to certain genres/types of dramas and the subs are much more simpler compared to Viki. Personally, Dramafever just seems to have most of the dramas that I want to watch so I only have a subscription for DF. If there is a drama I want to watch on Viki, I just either pay the short term subscription or mooch off from a friend ;D
And lastly, the prices might be a decision maker for you… but the prices seem to be pretty much the same between the two since they’re competitors. The biggest savings comes in the annual subscriptions if you plan to watch kdramas all year long… it’s actually a better deal in the long run than the monthly subscriptions even though the “smaller” dollar amount is better to look at in your bank account.
