‘When The Stars Gossip’ starring Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho premieres this week
When The Stars Gossip is finally here! The show has been highly anticipated ever since it announced its cast — Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho. It finished filming in 2023 but the release got delayed. It is now arriving on tvN on January 4 in the weekend slot. It will also air on Netflix and is touted as a space romance. It’s a love story between two people from different worlds and with separate missions who meet at a space station as an astronaut and a tourist.
Gong Hyo Jin (When The Camellia Blooms) plays a Korean-American astronaut who works at a zero-gravity space station and Lee Min Ho (Pachinko) plays an obstetrician-gynecologist who arrives at the space station as a tourist. In addition to its lead actors, the drama also stars an amazing group of supporting actors — Oh Jung Se (It’s Okay To Not Be Okay) as space experiment expert and a scientist, Han Ji Eun (Be Melodramatic) as Lee Min Ho’s character’s girlfriend, Kim Joo Hun (Castaway Diva) as a veteran astronaut, Lee El (Mr. Plankton) as a globally renowned astronaut and the first Korean woman to become Deputy Director of the International Institute of Space United Space Center, Heo Nam Jun (When the Phone Rings) as a scientist; with many more actors and characters.
When The Stars Gossip is written by the writer of well-loved dramas like Pasta, Miss Korea and Jealousy Incarnate, and helmed by the PD of It’s Okay To Not Be Okay. I’m really looking forward to this show!
