tvN checks in with their drama lineup for the second half of 2025

With June now officially on our doorstep (already!), tvN announced a mid-year check-in for the second half of 2025’s drama lineup. And while love continues to be the name of this year’s game, it’s nice to see a mix of genres and settings, with blossoming romance across different generations and different times.

Currently, we have plenty to chew on about life, change, and growth, with both Second Shot at Love and Our Unwritten Seoul currently airing. The list below will soon follow in course, as we head deeper into June and the coming seasons:

Title: Head Over Heels
Release date: June 23 (Mon-Tue)
Need to know: It’s a nightmare almost come true when teenage shaman Jo Yi-hyun (The Matchmakers) foresees a doomed future in her first love Choo Young-woo (The Trauma Code – Heroes on Call), putting her on a quest to fight against fate and ensure that her prophecy doesn’t come to pass. The supernatural webtoon-adaptation also stars her bestie Cha Kang-yoon (Resident Playbook) and ghost shaman Chu Ja-hyun (Unmasked).

Title: Law and the City
Release date: July 5 (Sat-Sun)
Need to know: Taking us through the busy ins and outs of a day in the lawyer office, the slice-of-life series follows our five bonding lunch buddies Lee Jong-seok (Big Mouth) and Moon Ga-young (My Dearest Nemesis), as well as Kang Yoo-seok (Resident Playbook), Ryu Hye-young (Gangnam B-Side), and Im Sung-jae (Newtopia – who are all fellow attorneys but from different firms.

Title: Love, Take Two
Release date: August (Mon-Tue)
Need to know: In a story about family, second chances, and carving your own life path, single mom Yeom Jung-ah (No Way Out – The Roulette) clashes with daughter Choi Yoon-ji (Resident Playbook). But another unexpected turn appears on the horizon when the two encounter Yeom’s first love Park Hae-joon (When Life Gives You Tangerines) and his son Minkyu (Missing Crown Prince).

Title: Bon Appetit, Your Majesty
Release date: TBD (Sat-Sun)
Need to know: Based on a popular webnovel, the fantasy tale has a modern day Yoon-ah (King the Land) becoming a French cuisine chef. But she somehow slips through 500 years into the past, landing herself in the Joseon era. Here, she meets the tyrant king Lee Chae-min (Crushology 101) and must serve in his royal kitchens in order to survive.

Title: Typhoon Corporation (roughly translated)
Release date: TBD (Sat-Sun)
Need to know: Set against the backdrop of the late 1990s, Kim Min-ha (Way Back Love) works at our titular company run by Sung Dong-il (The Art of Negotiaion). But when the IMF crisis deals a heavy blow, his son and our underdog hero Junho (King the Land) steps up to help his father’s business get out of the red.

In addition to the list above, tvN is expecting to release the following dramas later this year as well:
