Tastefully Yours ~ Are You a Tattler or a Fighter?
“Tastefully Yours” is a 2025 Korean drama series, with 10 episodes, categorized as Romance, Comedy, and Family; streaming on Netflix.
SUMMARY: The older brother took everything from the younger brother. He played very dirty tricks. When the younger son complained to his mother about unfair treatment and dirty tactics, she said she wasn’t interested. The younger son was told to fight to regain what belonged to him, instead of being a tattle tale.
♦ Don’t Be a Tattle Tale
In “Tastefully Yours”, a three-star restaurant indicates “exceptional cuisine”. Han Beom-Woo runs a fine dining restaurant, as does his older brother. They are always competing. Han Beom-Woo’s restaurant has only earned a 1-star rating, whereas his brother’s restaurant has earned 2 stars. No matter because Han Beom-Woo is certain that he can earn the Diamant 3-star rating. Their mother has expressed that she is disappointed with both of them because neither eating establishments has earned 3 stars. That looks bad for the entire corporation because it is one of South Korea’s major food businesses. She told the brothers that whichever one earns the 3 stars, he will inherit the family business. Uh oh! It’s gonna be a throw-down!
Han Beom-Woo is confident because he has hired the best chefs, given them the best recipes to follow, is handling the marketing and investing, etc. He has taken care of everything from A to Z. But the night before the doors of Motto (his restaurant) will open, he discovers that another restaurant has the same signature dish. WHAT?? That can’t be! Because he marketed the dish as “unique, one and only”. That means no other restaurant serves this dish! He has got to get to the owner of that restaurant and do something to stop them!
Han Beom-Woo found the restaurant, and it is owned and operated by a young woman named Mo Yeon-Joo. It’s strange. The taste of the food she prepares is incredible! But she has no customers, and it was very difficult to even find the place. Han Beom-Woo thinks this is a golden opportunity. Mo Yeon-Joo should be desperate enough to accept any offer, shut down her business, and move on. However, he read her wrong. She wasn’t interested in anything he offered, said she didn’t like his attitude, threw him out, and told him not to come back.
Come back? HAH! NEVER! That was Han Beom-Woo’s attitude … initially. But then his brother played a dirty trick on him, and he had to give up his restaurant. He tried to call his mother and explain what happened. His mother told him that the way he handled his business resulted in a black mark on the corporate image, damaged its reputation, and caused their stock price to drop. She doesn’t want to listen to him tattling on his brother! What is he going to do to make things RIGHT?! Is he a strong fighter or a whiny tattler?
What is he going to do?! Then he remembered that restaurant nobody knows about that has the most delicious food he’s ever tasted. The chef prepared dishes that are “unique, one and only” recipes. Han Beom-Woo had no other choice. He had to go back to Mo Yeon-Joo and … BEG! Please please! He begged her to let him invest in her restaurant. This time, his attitude was different, so she agreed. Can they work together and turn his/her restaurant into a 3-star fine dining experience?

Another one for the history books. I agree with the IMDb rating. Also, I would like to steal all of the recipes from “Tastefully Yours”. LOL. (If you watch the series, you’ll get the joke.)
