Oni Press’ Biker Mice From Mars #1 is out this week. It marks the first new adventure for the motorbike-riding alien rodents in years (I was about to say decades, but there was actually a revival of the show at some point in the 2010s). If you’re willing to spoil yourself a bit, you can read ahead as Oni has provided us with a sneak preview of how Issue #2 opens.
According to Oni, “Chaos ensues as Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo learn the volcanic eruption that has laid waste to the Martian town of Brimstone was no accident! And when Carbine provides them with intel from the Martian Army that may lead them to the culprits behind it all, the Biker Mice find themselves torn between aiding in rescue and recovery… or taking justice into their own hands!” Issue 2 continues the story written by Melissa Flores and drawn by Daniel Gete, with variant covers from Gete, Edu Souza (Immortal Red Sonja), Juann Cabal (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Juan Jose Ryp.
As for Issue 1, it’s out now with covers from Dustin Weaver (Infinity), Karl Kerschl (Gotham Academy), Justin Mason (Spider-Punk), Juan Jose Ryp (Wolverine, Ghost Rider), Kano (Action Comics) and Simon Bisley (Lobo). The first issue is a 40-page special with a back story starring Roboforce, written by Matt Hotson (Power Rangers: The Return) and drawn by EJ Su (Transformers).
Biker Mice From Mars #2 will be released July 23. But without further ado, here’s the preview…
