Season 2 Of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Confirmed | PopGeeks.com Forum | Indie Games, Movies, TV, Tabletop & Comics

KDramaHQ AdminJuly 4, 2025

What’s Toho going to do after their long-running hit My Hero Academia wraps up this year? Start some spinoffs! It’s not like the MHA series is the only adaptable material out there. Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court created the spinoff My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, which is set a few years before the main series and stars a completely different cast.

Deku’s perspective of this Quirk-y world is just one of many. For a change of pace, Vigilantes follows Koichi Haimawari, gifted with the ability to glide quickly across any flat surface, like an ice skater. Koichi has similar dreams to Deku’s of becoming a superhero….but HIS problem is, he can’t get into the academy to obtain an official license. The city doesn’t let you commit heroism without approval!

Well, maybe what they don’t know won’t hurt them. One fateful afternoon Koichi meets Knuckleduster, an off-the-record Super who introduces him to the ways of the Vigilantes — those who are not regulated yet go around superheroing anyway. Knuckleduster, his friend Kazuho Haneyema, and Koichi form a new team of underground heroes defending the city from fearsome threats.

The first season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes wrapped this week, but with the promise there would be more. A second season has just been announced for 2026, and is expected to retain the same cast and crew, including the voices:

  • Koichi Haimawari aka The Crawler voiced by Shuichiro Umeda / Jack Broadbent
  • Kazuho Haneyama aka Pop☆Step voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa / Macy Anne Johnson
  • Knuckleduster voiced by Yasuhiro Mamiya / Jason Marnocha
  • Kuin Hachisuka voiced by Sayaka Senbongi / Morgan Lauré Garrett
  • Makoto Tsukauchi voiced by Asami Seto / Molly Searcy
  • Christopher Skyline aka Captain Celebrity voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa / Sean Schemmel

There isn’t quite as much of MHA:V to adapt as there was of MHA, but for now the seasons will keep on coming. Expect the second chunk of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes sometime next year.
