Project Wolf Hunting ~ The Merciless Against the Merciless

♦ This Time Let’s Transport Them Via Cargo Ship
In “Project Wolf Hunting”, the governments of South Korea and the Philippines entered into an extradition agreement. Violent criminals from South Korea who had fled to the Philippines were caught and returned home. In 2016, criminals coming from the Philippines via airplane landed at an airport in South Korea. The government officials thought they had taken the necessary precautions to ensure that the criminals would be moved from the airport to the prison without incident. But there was an incident. One of the victims came to the airport strapped with a bomb, and … the end result was a disaster.
In 2022, the government decided to try transporting a group of criminals on a cargo ship. There were police officers assigned to guard the prisoners, and other crew members to carry out various duties. There were people in the crew who were ruthless and planned to take over the ship. The criminals had also planned to escape their chains. Those who were not a part of these plans were killed mercilessly.
The bad guys thought everything was going their way until …
What they did not know was that there was a monster on the ship who was also being transported. The monster was a human being that had been experimented on by cruel scientists using a wolf’s blood or DNA. That monster, who was once a man, had incredible superhuman strength and also killed mercilessly. The creature had been chained up but broke free and began roaming the ship.
Imagine what happened when merciless criminals came face to face with a merciless monster. Sadly, the monster did not distinguish between good guys and bad guys. Did anyone survive?

My personal rating is the same as MDL.
Some say “Project Wolf Hunting” is a must-watch for fans of extreme gore and violent sci-fi thrillers. I say it’s not a horror movie that was scary or caused chills, but I was glad when it was over. Not on my re-watch list. Way too much violence and gore for me. I’m not even sure fans of this genre would appreciate it. It’s rated “R” for a reason. Per Roger Ebert: “A sluggish, by-the-numbers body count flick that too often looks like an overproduced video game.”
