Reasons to watch: Ever since Culinary Class Wars, cooking and fine dining have been all over the Korean mediascape, but dramaland has yet to deliver a big culinary drama, until now. In the first major culinary drama of the year, Kang Haneul and Go Min-shi pair up to serve us a rom-com full of gorgeous food with city mouse-meets–country mouse hijinks.

Kang Haneul plays a chaebol heir in the food & beverage industry who is constantly sniffing out new recipes to add to his expanding F&B empire. With food as his business, he doesn’t care about flavor or taste, he only cares about profits. So when he hears about a tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant whose chef serves Michelin-level meals, his interest is piqued and he makes it his mission to get his hands on those recipes.

Unfortunately for him, chef Go Min-shi is his opposite in almost every way; she only cares about taste and food. What’s worse is that she isn’t willing to go into business with him–unless he can prove his worthiness.

The deal? Work at the restaurant for one month and, if he manages to survive, he’s got a new business (and access to all of her recipes). Of course, there’s no way they’ll manage that month without butting heads and falling for each other, so what will that mean for Kang Haneul’s empire-building ambitions?

TL;DR: This drama has all the ingredients for a fun watch that could satisfy your rom-com cravings.
