KDramaHQ AdminJune 4, 2025

“Oh My! Ghost Clients” is a 2025 Korean drama series, with 10 episodes, categorized as Supernatural, Fantasy, Legal drama, Comedy, and Family; streaming on Viki and KOCOWA+.

SUMMARY: Do you want a second chance at life? Fine! You can be the labor attorney for the spirits who have been wronged and want justice. Deal? DEAL!

A Near-Death Experience Means You’re Not Dead Yet!

In “Oh My Ghost Clients”, No Mu-jin was dissatisfied with his job and decided to resign, take his severance pay, and invest it all in cryptocurrency. Two things went wrong. First, the friend who convinced him to do that DIED. He was crying like a baby at the memorial service. People thought he and the guy must have been very close. But he was crying about the fact that he lost all of the money in their joint venture. His friend left this world, leaving him behind to face his wife. No Mu-jin made this major decision and didn’t tell his wife. Is it any wonder when he told her that she LEFT?! On the plus side, she didn’t die, and she didn’t try to kill him, even though she was angry enough!

So now he’s jobless and broke, and he can’t return to his old job. His friend from his old job did give him good advice. He suggested that No Mu-jin become a labor attorney. He took that advice, set up his office, and with the help of his sister-in-law, Na Hee-joo, and her friend, Go Gyeon-woo, they went out to get clients. They started out handling the business in a rather “sneaky manner”.

They would go to a business, point out the labor law violations, and then get them to pay money for them to stay quiet, instead of informing the authorities. But one day, No Mu-jin was at a work site that had several health and safety violations. He almost got killed. In other words, he was about to become a victim of an industrial accident. But the strangest thing happened.

They say that your life flashes before your eyes, in an instant, just before you die. That’s what happened to No Mu-jin. One minute, he was looking up at several heavy metal rods about to fall on him. Next? He was revisiting certain memories of his life. And then … ??? He was somewhere that looked like a place he had never been, and there was this man … this angel?? … this angel-like man? … not sure. (O.o) No Mu-jin wondered if he had already died. But according to the mysterious man … NOT YET!

No Mu-jin was having a near-death experience. He wasn’t dead yet, but the mysterious man, Bodhisattva, told him he would be unless he was willing to make a deal. A deal? What kind of a deal?  Many spirits can’t go to the afterlife in peace because of their unjust death. They were victims of industrial accidents. The companies they worked for committed egregious labor law violations regarding the safety and health of the employees.

Consequently, they died, the company was not held accountable, and the guilty parties who violated the law were not punished. In many instances, their death was covered up. The company continued to operate and violate the law without impunity. Bodhisattva asked No Mu-jin if he wanted to live. He is about to die if those metal rods fall on him. But he can live IF he agrees to represent the spirits in court and bring their unjust deaths to light.

Of course, No Mu-jin agrees and signs a contract with Bodhisattva. Immediately after signing, No Mu-jin is back among the living. That industrial accident that was about to happen to him? The rods completely missed him. He lived! Now he can see ghosts, specifically, spirits who come to him with unresolved workplace grievances. He helps them settle the matter, and most importantly, their families get to know the truth about what happened to them.
