Following the global success of Unmasked and Hyper Knife, K-drama powerhouses Kim Dami and Son Suk Ku are back to thrill audiences once again in Nine Puzzles—a mind-bending crime drama premiering May 21, exclusively on Disney+.
Launching with six intense episodes, Nine Puzzles unravels the chilling story of Yoon Ena, a high school student who wakes up at the scene of her uncle’s murder, with no memory of how she got there—except for one haunting clue: a single puzzle piece. Branded the prime suspect, Ena’s life is forever altered. Fast forward ten years, Ena has become a brilliant criminal profiler, but when a new string of murders appears—each tied to puzzle pieces just like the one from her past—she’s pulled back into a terrifying mystery that’s far from solved.
Kim Dami (Itaewon Class) takes on the role of Ena, the emotionally scarred yet sharp-minded profiler haunted by her past. Son Suk Ku (Big Bet) plays Detective Kim Hansaem, whose relentless pursuit of the truth is matched only by his suspicion of Ena. The cast also includes Kim Sung Kyun (Moving, The Fiery Priest) as Police Captain Yang Jungho and Hyun Bongsik (When Life Gives You Tangerines, Gangnam B-Side) as Junior Detective Choi San.
Directed by Yoon Jongbin (Narco Saints, The Spy Gone North) and written by Lee Eunmi (Tunnel, Navillera), Nine Puzzles promises a cerebral ride packed with suspense, layered characters, and psychological intrigue.
