  • Netflix announced production for the suspense drama Notes from the Last Row (previously The Boy in the Last Row), showcasing our leads – Choi Min-shik (Big Bet, Exhuma), Choi Hyun-wook (My Dearest Nemesis), Heo Jun-ho (Buried Hearts), Kim Yun-jin (Money Heist Korea – Joint Economic Area), and Jin Kyung (The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract) – in the first script reading stills. The remake is based on the Spanish play El chico de la última fila by Juan Mayorga, and has PD Kim Gyu-tae (The Trunk, Our Blues) at the helm with writing by Jang Myung-woo (My Mother the Mermaid).   • Casting news continues on SBS’s Sold Out Again Today, with Kim Bum (Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938) becoming an executive director of a skin care brand, joining Ahn Hyo-seop (A Time Called You) and Chae Won-bin (Who Is She) in the lineup.   • Lee Hyun-wook (Shark – The Storm) and Lee Kwang-soo (The Divorce Insurance) have reportedly been cast in the upcoming crime-thriller Gold Land. With the former playing Park Bo-young‘s (Our Unwritten Seoul) debt-ridden boyfriend and the latter a gangster boss to Kim Sung-chul (Hellbound 2), the series is said to be holding its script reading today on May 29 and will begin filming in the first week of June.
