• Netflix has picked up a new rom-com titled Lovestruck (previously This Damned Love), confirming casting for the amnesia-ridden prosecutor Ha Young (The Trauma Code – Heroes on Call) and boxing coach Jung Hae-in (Love Next Door) – who professes to be her boyfriend. The drama has PD Kim Jang-han (My Demon) directing and working again with writer Mo Ji-hye after Wavve’s You Raise Me Up. [MBC]

• Suzy (Doona) is reviewing an offer to star in Men of the Harem (translated title), potentially becoming empress in the fantasy romance. Adapted from the popular webnovel by the same title, production is currently at the casting stage, with PD Lee Eung-bok (Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine) and writer Hwang Jin-young (My Dearest) leading the team. • SBS released new character posters for the upcoming Our Movie, showcasing the melodrama’s tragic leads: Namgoong Min (My Dearest) and Jeon Yeo-bin (A Time Called You). Helmed by PD Lee Jung-heum (Inspector Koo) with scripts co-written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, the series will be airing on weekends next month, following The Haunted Palace with a June 13 premiere. • Speaking of SBS, casting continues for Would You Marry Me, adding Bae Nara (Tastefully Yours), Seo Beom-joon (The Fiery Priest 2), and Shin Seul-gi (The Haunted Palace) to the lineup. Headlined by Choi Woo-shik (Melo Movie) and Jung So-min (Love Next Door) in a contract matrimony headed to real love, the rom-com is expected to broadcast towards the end of this year. • Bae Hyun-sung (Family by Choice) and Lee Re (Hellbound 2) have been confirmed for tvN’s comedy New CEO Project, which is slated to launch later in 2025. With Lee playing delivery girl and Bae the new hire with a background in law, they’ll become Han Seok-kyu’s (Doubt) right and left arm as he fries up chicken for his shop, while also – unofficially – mediating for the simmering neighborhood problems. • On MBC, the underdog sports journey begins in the latest teaser for A Head Coach’s Turnover (previously Director Maeng’s Internet Troll), teaming up basketball director Park Sung-woong (Dongjae the Good or the Bastard) with his online enemy Park Su-oh (The Witch). The two-episode comedy will be taking place on May 23 and 24 next week, following Crushology 101 in the weekend slot. [MBC]
