• It’s been a good and busy year for Park Bo-gum (When Life Gives You Tangerines) and reports confirm that he’s reviewing an offer for a new series called Night Traveler (roughly translated). Production is still in early days and not much has been revealed, except that writer Yoon Ji-ryun (Move to Heaven) is attached to pen the scripts. In the meantime, we’ll be seeing Park soon in JTBC’s Good Boy later this month. [Osen]

• Planning has also begun for Reborn Rich 2 and the Artist Company – founded by Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game 2) and Jung Woo-sung (Tell Me That You Love Me) – will notably have a hand in production. Aiming to create new characters and expand the universe to set the new story around a global conglomerate, the second installment seems to be closer to a spin-off than a true sequel. Unless, of course, it’s Groundhog Day and Song Joong-ki (Reborn Rich) gets to do a re-do of his re-do in Season 1. [Newsen]
• On tvN, promos have kicked off with the first posters for Head Over Heels (previously Gyun-woo and Fairy), putting teenage shaman Jo Yi-hyun (The Matchmakers) on a mission to save her first love Choo Young-woo (The Trauma Code – Heroes on Call). The webtoon-adaptation will be beginning its fantasy adventure in June, with PD Kim Yong-wan (The Whirlwind, If You Wish Upon Me) directing and writing by Yang Ji-hoon. [Sports Donga]

• Shin Ye-eun (Jeongnyeon – The Star is Born) is reportedly in talks to become a nurse for Endurance Doctor, potentially starring alongside a plastic surgeon Lee Jae-wook (Dear Hongrang). With the story based on a popular and ongoing webtoon, the medical drama has PD Lee Myung-woo (Boyhood, The Fiery Priest 1) at the helm and is in discussions to secure both a TV and online platform. • Forest of Humans is another webtoon-adaptation that is currently in the works, courting Seo Ye-ji (Eve) to take on a leading role in the mystery-thriller. The dark tale gathers a group of psychopath murderers in an internment camp – for experiment purposes – but of course these things never go as planned. The director and writer have not yet been announced. [Osen]
• In TVING’s corner, a new poster and teaser have dropped us into the ring of Shark – The Storm, where Kim Min-seok (Mr. Plankton) faces the new big bad Lee Hyun-wook (The Queen Who Crowns). As a follow-up to TVING’s 2021 film Shark – The Beginning, the crime-action’s sequel will have a runtime of 6 episodes and will be launching this week on May 15. [MBC]
