  • KBS’s next weekender Splendid Days (roughly translated) has begun casting, and offers are currently out to Jung Il-woo (Good Job) and Jung In-sun (DNA Lover) to headline the family drama. Aiming to broadcast later this year, PD Kim Hyung-seok (Cheat on Me If You Can) is at the helm with scripts by So Hyun-kyung (Twenty Again), who worked together previously on My Golden Life.   • Lee Jae-wook (The Impossible Heir) is in talks for a new medical series called Endurance Doctor (roughly translated), potentially becoming the titular plastic surgeon if Lee signs on.   • New character posters have dropped for JTBC’s upcoming Heavenly Ever After, where we’ll be following our heroine Kim Hye-ja (Our Blues) into her life after death. Also starring Sohn Seok-gu (A Killer’s Paradox), Han Ji-min (Love Scout), and Lee Jung-eun (Light Shop), as well as Chun Ho-jin (The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract) and Ryu Deok-hwan (LTNS), the fantasy will unfold on weekends starting on April 19.   • Disney+’s Knock-Off had been slated to release its first season in April as well, with season two penciled on the calendar for later in 2025.
