Jung Kyung-ho, So Joo-yeon

  • After offering his legal services to MBC’s Oh My Ghost Clients in May, Jung Kyung-ho (Crash Course in Romance) will next be transferring to the public sector as a judge-turned-lawyer, working alongside fellow attorney So Joo-yeon (Our Chocolate Moments) in tvN’s new comedy Pro Bono. Aiming to broadcast later this year, the series has PD Kim Sung-yoon (The Sound of Magic, Itaewon Class) directing with scripts by real-life former judge Moon Yoo-seok (The Devil Judge, Miss Hammurabi).   • LG’s U+ Mobile TV is lining up a new rom-com called Love Phobia (transliterated title), with Yeonwoo (The Tale of Lady Ok) and Jo Yoon-seo (Welcome to Samdal-ri) becoming co-CEOs of an AI dating app. But they themselves will of course get tangled in love, along with fraternal twin brothers, Kim Hyun-jin (Crushology 101) and Choi Byung-chan (Business Proposal).   • Speaking of adaptations, Han Ji-eun (Study Group) is said to be reviewing an offer to join The Boy in the Last Row, which is based on the Spanish play El chico de la última fila by Juan Mayorga. Starring a talented ensemble including Choi Min-shik (Big Bet, Exhuma) and Choi Hyun-wook (My Dearest Nemesis), the series is helmed by PD Kim Gyu-tae (The Trunk, Our Blues) with writing by Jang Myung-woo (My Mother the Mermaid).
