  • It’s been almost three years since TVING’s webtoon adaptation Yumi’s Cells left us hanging after Season 2 and preparations are finally underway for Season 3, with an offer out for Kim Go-eun (Little Women) to reprise her leading role.   • JTBC confirmed casting for Ryu Seung-ryong (Chicken Nugget) to star in the slice-of-life office series The Story of Seoul Home Owner and Corporate Director Mr. Kim (roughly translated). Adapted from the same-titled novel (which was also made into a webtoon), the black comedy is planning to broadcast later this year, with PD Jo Hyun-tak (The Atypical Family, SKY Castle) attached to direct.   • SBS has armed Yook Sung-jae (The Golden Spoon) and Bona (Pyramid Game) in new character posters, readying them for battle in King Kim Ji-hoon’s (Death’s Game) The Haunted Palace.   • It’s going to be a mystical season in dramaland this year with MBC also dabbling with spirits, setting up a labor law office for Jung Kyung-ho (Crash Course in Romance), Seol In-ah (Twinkling Watermelon), and Cha Hak-yeon (Castaway Diva) to represent their Oh My Ghost Clients. Kicking off promos with the first script reading stills, the comedy also stars Tang Joon-sang (Racket Boys) and Kyung Su-jin (Shadow Detective 2), and will be launching this May. [MBC]
