New Wave Of Invincible Merch Flying Toward Us | popgeeks.com

I’ll say this about Invincible, the Amazon Prime superhero cartoon that just wrapped its third season last week…it really makes you grateful superpowers don’t exist. Mark Grayson’s world is a brutal one, with national tragedies occurring on a weekly basis, and a level of violence that’s reached Mortal Kombat levels of ridiculousness (punch anyone and their intestines burst out like a pinata). It’s a bit softened, though, by the fact that these guys can recover from just about everything. The only reason I believe a character recently died is because they never came back in the comic book.

Don’t get us wrong though — it’s an amazing show, and clearly a lot of people agree or the market wouldn’t support so much Invincible merchandise. Skybound Entertainment just put out a press release announcing renewals with all the companies making Invincible stuff, as well as some new deals. Here’s what’s coming your way and who’s making it:

Free League: You already know about this one; we reported on it. Free League and Skybound are working on an Invincible tabletop game with illustrations by Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. They haven’t told us when the Kickstarter will launch, but it’s supposed to be soon.

Funko: Funko has renewed its Invincible license for the next three years. There are a lot more square-headed, soulless-looking figures of the show’s cast coming our way.

Agoro By New Zealand Mint: These guys make collectible coins, often with real precious metal. This means there could be some expensive embossed images of Mark’s face coming.

Jada Toys: These folks make action figures, the most obvious Invincible collectible. Look for more of their work soon.

Sellers Publishing: Founded in 1993, they manufacture calendars, planners and greeting cards, as well as gift books, cookbooks and trade books. Imagine the potential of Invincible greeting cards, like a beat-up Mark with the words “get well soon,” or a breakup card that has the grinning face of Omni-Man next to the words “YOU WERE MORE LIKE A PET.”

Mad Engine: These are the guys that will bring you Invincible wearables, like t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and more

TCG Toys: Another action figure company; guess it doesn’t hurt to have two. You know, in case one factory explodes.

These seven companies will be keeping the shelves stocked with Invincible stuff well into the future. All three seasons of the show are streamable on Amazon Prime and a fourth season is now in production.
