NECA’S Slasher Figure Line Adds Pamela Voorhees – Popgeeks

After decades of being ignored, Jason’s dear mother finally seems to be getting her turn in the spotlight. A Friday the 13th prequel series is in the works with Pamela Voorhees as its main villain, but if that’s not enough, NECA is also making a towering tribute to Camp Crystal Lake’s ORIGINAL killer.

Ultimate Pamela Voorhees stands at an intimidating 7 inches tall and comes with a full arsenal of weaponry: a knife, an axe, a machete, a bow and arrow and a broken oar. Her multiple interchangeable faces ensure that she has an expression for any situation. Pamela costs $35 and is on sale now, but NECA only plans to offer the figure for a limited time.

Mother is returning! NECA is thrilled to bring back a fan-favorite figure for a one-time-only, limited release: Ultimate Pamela Voorhees! The mother of Jason and the killer from the original 1980 Friday the 13th film is back to avenge the death of her son who drowned at Camp Crystal Lake. An absolute must-have for horror movie fans, this 7-inch scale action figure includes interchangeable heads and hands, knife, axe, machete, broken oar, and bow and arrow. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap.

Pamela joins NECA’s full lineup of movie slasher figures, including Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Chucky and Tiffany, and M3GAN. Most of these are the same size as Pamela (making for a fair fight) but Chucky and Tiffany are actually “life size,” built to the scale they are in movies and TV shows. NECA also claims their M3GAN is a 1:1 replica, but she’s quite a bit bigger. Y’know, maybe it wouldn’t be such a fair fight after all.
