Hullo! I’m sliding in your feed to bring you some Movie Monday. I know it’s a little overdue but I promise you, I have a lot on my drafts right now that needs writing and I shall go over them when I have the time. This movie I came across on Facebook as I was scrolling through my feed. I thought that the guy looked a lot like Seo In Gook so I just continued watching the clip and ended up watching the movie later that night.
Cast: Hinako Sakurai as Yuu, Sho Hirano as Rin, Kentaro Ito as Kazuma, Hiyori Sakurada as Mika, Tina Timashiro as Koyomi, and Hayato Isomura as Keita
Story: The story of this is really interesting and adorable. So, Yoo and Rin have been friends since they were kids because they live beside each other. Yuu is a very shy lady and she usually clutches her hair when she’s nervous and the only person that can calm her down is Rin. Now, Rin is this bad boy at school and he protects Yuu but does not like to show it because of his image. He basically has a crush on Yuu but he doesn’t want her to know.
One day, Yuu’s family moves out of the apartment and moves to a house in a different part of town. While moving boxes, she comes across Kazuma who lives across the street and gives her a hand and they instantly became friends.
The story revolves around our 6 characters and their twisted relationships. It’s a coming of age movie where they realize who they really like and why they do. It also revolves around friendship and trust which I love about Japanese movies.
My thoughts: All the feels! oh my goodness. I love a good coming of age Japanese movie. It makes you feel good after you see it. I tried so hard not to give out details because it will ruin the movie experience if I do. The movie was really nice and I think I’ve been seeing clips of it every now and then. I just love how adorable it is.
Anyway, If you’ve seen this movie, let me know what you think 🙂 If you haven’t, give it a go and let me know if you like it. Happy Watching ^^v
