tvN Asia is set to premiere “Law and the City” and “Cheongdam International High School 2” on July 6 and July 3, respectively.
The Southeast Asian channel brings the latest in Korean drama to viewers across the region shortly after their Korea broadcast.
A gripping legal drama set in the heart of Seoul’s Seocho-dong legal district, “Law and the City” follows the lives of five ambitious associate lawyers handling high-stakes cases and complex personal dynamics.
The series stars an ensemble of A-list actors, including Lee Jong-suk as Ahn Joo-hyung — a logic-driven veteran who has stayed in the same law firm for nearly a decade — alongside Moon Ga-young, Kang You-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Im Seong-jae as his equally talented and driven colleagues.
K-drama lovers are definitely looking forward to this one, as it is also Lee Jong-suk’s comeback drama after “Big Mouth” in 2022.
Directed by Park Seung-woo (“Kairos,” “Wanted”) and written by Lee Seung-hyun, the series blends sharp courtroom tension with heartfelt character moments, spotlighting the challenges and camaraderie among young legal professionals.
“Law and the City” premieres this July 6 in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore via the linear TV channel tvN Asia every Sunday and Monday at 9:15 p.m. (Manila time).
Returning with even more intensity, “Cheongdam International High School 2” brings viewers back to the elite halls of Cheongdam High, where power, privilege, and secrets collide.
Following the explosive events of season 1, the new season continues the psychological tension between freshman Kim Hye-in and her formidable rival Baek Je-na.
The drama stars the original cast from season 1, including Lee Eun-saem, Kim Ye-rim, Lee Jong-hyuk, and Park Si-woo, with two new additions: Kim Min-kyu and Won Gyu-bin.
This youth mystery drama explores class conflict, ambition, and the hidden dangers of a picture-perfect high school. Season 2 expands the universe with new cast members and deeper storylines, maintaining the fast pace and social commentary that captivated fans across Asia.
“Cheongdam International High School 2” premieres via the linear TV channel tvN Asia in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore on July 3. It airs every Thursday and Friday at 8:30 p.m. (Manila time).
With these two dynamic express titles, tvN Asia continues to deliver premium Korean dramas with compelling characters, socially relevant themes, and region-wide appeal — just 24 hours after their debut in Korea.
In the Philippines, tvN is available on Cignal TV and BlastTV.
