tvN has officially confirmed that the hit 2016 drama Signal will return for a long-awaited second season, titled Second Signal. The announcement has sparked excitement among fans, as the original series remains one of the most acclaimed investigative dramas in Korean television history.
On March 5, tvN stated, “The beloved drama ‘Signal’ will be making its long-awaited return as ‘Second Signal.’ We are now entering full-scale production, aiming to premiere in the first half of next year, which also marks the 20th anniversary of tvN.”
First aired in 2016, Signal captivated audiences with its unique time-slip investigation premise, where detectives from the present and past communicate through a walkie-talkie to solve long-forgotten cold cases.
