“HOUSE OF DAVID – David Vs. Goliath”. This well-known story found in the Bible is about David, a young shepherd boy, who had more courage to face a giant than a king and his entire military force. The enemy of Israel is the Philistines. These people are so confident that they can win a war they boast by sending out only one of their soldiers, a giant named Goliath. He barks at the frightened Israelites every day, challenging them to send one soldier out to fight him. If that soldier can beat Goliath, then it’s The End for the Philistines.
Michael Iskander is a fresh face. He was born in Egypt but moved to the US at the age of nine. He discovered acting during high school, has performed on Broadway, and won various awards. The “House of David” is his first-ever on-screen acting role.
