Ha Yoo-joon and Park Ji-hoo welcome their Spring of Youth

A new semester has arrived for SBS’s campus romance Spring of Youth as dreams, love, and music blossom for our young adults. Starring Ha Yoo-joon (Namib) as former pop star Sa-gye and Park Ji-hoo (Little Women) as music major Kim Bom, a twist of fate throws these two individuals together as they strive for a brighter future.

After getting kicked out of his idol group unceremoniously, Sa-gye attends university where he first lays eyes on Kim Bom. In the latest teaser, Sa-gye narrates, “Having someone believe in you is explosive like dynamite!” He stares at Bom under a tree and plays his guitar to an excited crowd, reflecting the sentiment of his words. However, Sa-gye isn’t the only one who seems to hold a torch for our leading lady.

As the teaser continues, we hear Bom’s narration next: “I want to make music with someone on the same wavelength as me.” She plays the piano while Sa-gye accompanies her on the guitar and then runs across campus with a wide grin on her face. Bom rocks out with her bandmates as they busk on the sidewalk, and the teaser moves on to the third leg of this trio.

Lee Seung-hyeop (Love Next Door) plays guitarist Seo Tae-yang who narrates, “My happy place was the stage where I played music. That’s why I’m leaving to go do what I want.” Scenes of Tae-yang with his bandmates flash on screen before the teaser switches to him walking through a crowd with a determined expression.

As Bom takes off her mascot head, Sa-gye stares at her absolutely smitten while she declares that he will be her next project. She asks if everyone is ready to rock the stage, and as if answering her question, Sa-gye replies, “I want to be in a band with you for a long time.”

Directed by PD Kim Sung-yong (My Dearest) with scripts penned by Kim Min-chul, SBS’s Spring of Youth will drop its first two episodes Tuesday, May 6, then Wednesday, May 7, with subsequent episodes airing every Wednesday.
