Heo’s Diner has unveiled new stills, showcasing the dynamic bromance between EXO’s Xiumin and Lee Se On.
The fantasy comedy romance follows Heo Gyun, a rebellious figure from the Joseon Dynasty, who time-slips 400 years into the future and unexpectedly starts a restaurant. Adapted from a web novel by Jeon Seon-yeong, the drama promises a mix of history, humor, and culinary adventure.
Xiumin takes on the role of Heo Gyun, a literary genius with a flair for creativity, while Lee Se On plays dual characters—Lee Yi-cheom, a driven political strategist from the past, and Lee Hyuk, a rising star in modern Korean cuisine.
The newly released images depict the intriguing dynamic between the two leads. In one scene, Heo Gyun, known for his free-spirited nature and bold ideas, engages in conversation with Lee Yi-cheom, who is keen to recruit him to his side. However, their differing ambitions create tension.
Meanwhile, in the present day, Heo Gyun encounters Lee Hyuk, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Lee Yi-cheom. Mistaking him for his past acquaintance, Heo Gyun approaches him eagerly, but Lee Hyuk, a top chef, remains wary of this unexpected visitor.
This marks Xiumin and Lee Se On’s second collaboration, following their strong chemistry in CEO Idol Mart. Fans eagerly anticipate how their lively and comedic synergy will unfold in Heo’s Diner, jointly produced by Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures and Corpus Japan.
Heo’s Diner premieres on Netflix on March 24, with new episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 5 PM. It will also be available on Wavve in the future.
