These past months have been strange for me with respect to dramaland, as most Korean dramas that I started failed to hold my interest and I dropped all of them except Love Scout and When Life Gives You Tangerines. This is why I’m so happy that finally a show has arrived that has not only kept my interest consistently, but I’m loving it a lot. The drama is Our Unwritten Seoul.
The drama’s plot is the classic tale of twins with different personalities and circumstances switching their lives. A lot of times these stories are laced with quirkiness and funny hijinks. It’s exciting to see that this drama handles this plot with thoughtful and introspective lens, along with subtle humor and swoony romance taking the other important positions in the show.
The Haunted Palace (2025)
Dropped after: 1 Episode
I actually enjoyed the premiere episode of this horror/historical drama. But I think it wasn’t taking the direction I assumed it would take and that’s why my interest level went down by the end. I might pick it up later but for now, I’ve kept it on hold indefinitely.
