Very excited to see everyone’s favorite dramas this year!
For any interested in following along, @Claire2009 and I will be tallying the collective Top 10s in this spreadsheet, where I’ve previously tracked our Top 10 lists from 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2017. For the next month, we’ll add all of your Top 10 lists from the comments to this spreadsheet so we can identify our favorite dramas this year (and in past/future years!).

As people post their lists, Healer’s and I will be focusing on tallying the lists and adding them to the 2025 tab (the main tab when you click the link). We will stop accepting new lists at the end of the day on June 18, one month from today. At that point, I’ll combine this year’s list with those from our past drama chats to see which dramas come out on top (in the ALL YEARS tab). I’ll comment back here and on the Open Thread with the final spreadsheet and any observations or analysis from our lists shortly after June 18. 🙂
(Note: In order to help this spreadsheet be representative of our favorite k dramas, we do have some inclusion criteria for eligible dramas/lists — e.g., we won’t include movies, non-Korean dramas, or lists that include far more than 10 dramas or are posted over a month from today. Those criteria are to make this data more statistically sound, but obviously this drama chat is just for fun, so don’t feel like you need to stick to that if you’d prefer to make your list your own way. If you have any questions about the inclusion criteria or the rationale for it, you can see the “Inclusion Criteria” note on the “All Years” tab of the spreadsheet.)
