Crunchyroll’s 2025 Anime Expo Panel Lineup | popgeeks.com

KDramaHQ AdminJune 5, 2025

Crunchyroll has laid out their entire plans for Anime Expo next month. They expect to host nine panels in total, each spotlighting one of their most anticipated offerings for the next few months. Here’s what you need to know…

The Internet works in a peculiar way; in one corner, seven million people may have heard of something while in another corner, virtually no one has. Today is the first time I’ve heard about Let’s Play, an American webcomic that’s being turned into a Japanese anime — the first such crossover to happen. apparently it ran from 2016 to 2022, first on Deviantart and then on Webtoon. Creator Leeanne M. Krecic was personally involved in the anime’s production and OLM (Pokémon, Berserk) made the animation. Krecic (who’s better known online as “Mongie”) will be part of the Anime Expo panel revealing the show, along with director Daiki Tomiyasu.

The Let’s Play panel takes place Thursday, July 3 in the Platinum Ballroom at the JW Marriott, and after that, there’ll be panels for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 (with the Japanese voice of Naofumi and producer Ten Kimura) and Solo Camping for Two (with voice actors Daiki Hamano and Mizuki Niizaki).

July 4 will bring with it not just a lot of fireworks outside, but panels for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and The Apothecary Diaries (with voice actors Yuki Aoi and Seto Asami). On July 5th, enjoy a special preview of the first episode from the second cour of Dr, Stone: Science Future with the Japanese voices of Senku Ishigami (Yusuke Kobayashi) and Dr. Xeno (Kenji Nojima). After that there’ll be a pane for My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 with the Japanese voices of Marin Kitagawa (Hina Suguta) and Wakana Gojo (Shoya Ishige).

And finally, the Kaiju No. 8 panel will come crashing in July 6th, followed by the panel for Toilet-bound Hanako-kun with Megumi Ogata (Hanako-kun) and producers Yuki Katayama and Shota Komatsu.

At any time during the event, fans can visit the Crunchyroll booth (#2526) for an “immersive anime experience” related to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle and a sneak preview of Gachiakuta. There’s also the Crunchyroll Store at booth #2135 with over 30 exclusive items.

Anime Expo runs from Jule 3 through July 6 in Los Angeles.
