Critical Role Celebrates Tenth Anniversary With Theatrical Presentation
Critical Role turns ten this year, and as the most successful Actual Play series in the world (I don’t think this is arguable, Dimension 20 doesn’t have its own Amazon Prime cartoon), the crew of eight will be celebrating in a BIG way. Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey and Liam O’Brien are headed to the big screen for Critical Role LIVE!
The CR team is going on tour, first in Australia and then across the US, and they’re taking the cameras along to beam their adventures to 800 theaters across the country, thanks to an arrangement with Fathom Events. There will be four play sessions, the first two in separate Australian cities:
Critical Role Live: Sydney and Melbourne, Australia – Tag Team and the Teeth
Matthew Mercer and the Critical Role cast return to the world of Exandria in these live shows captured at the ICC Sydney Theatre in Sydney (6/19) and the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne (6/25), where party members from separate campaigns join forces as they fight a common threat.
Critical Role Live: Indianapolis – Daggerheart in Exandria
Captured live from the Fishers Event Center in Indianapolis. Matthew Mercer and the cast return to the world of Exandria as the Bells Hells adventuring party, powered by Darrington Press’s new tabletop role-playing game Daggerheart.
Critical Role Live: NYC Radio City Music Hall
Love and peril live at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City, as two of our Mighty Nein lovebirds, Jester and Fjord, embark on their greatest adventure yet: MARRIAGE!

Critical Role Live in Sydney will be recorded live in Australia June 19 and be rebroadcast by Fathom Entertainment June 19 at 7PM local time. Critical Role Live in Melbourne will be recorded one week later June 25, and rebroadcast June 25 at 7 PM. Critical Role Live in Indianapolis will be recorded August 2 and rebroadcast August 5 at 7PM, and Critical Role Live in New York City will be recorded live at Radio City Music Hall October 7 and rebroadcast October 15 at 7PM.
