SHINee’s Choi Minho, a rapper-singer-actor also known for his roles in “Hwarang,” “To The Beautiful You,” “Romance In The House,” and Netflix’s “The Fabulous,” wrapped up his 2025 “MEAN: Of My First” concert series in the Philippines on a high note with raw energy and undeniable passion last March 16 in Manila at New Frontier Theater.
Choi Minho began the evening with “Would You Mind” and “Affection,” then performed “Came And Left Me” and “Round Kick.” Choi Minho made sure to keep the momentum going, proving his versatility as a performer. During his ment, Choi Minho spoke in Tagalog: “Kumusta, ako si Minho,” to greet his Filipino audience. He also performed a fan-favorite track, “Chase,” and then treated the audience to a short “break” with a full MV in lieu of the usual VCRs.
The set continued with “Call Back,” “Slow Down,” and “I Don’t Miss You,” before transitioning into “Run Away” and “Prove It.” As the night went on, each of his performances showcased Choi Minho’s ability to switch from heartfelt ballads to energetic tracks seamlessly.
A standout moment occurred during his intense performance of “Something About U,” where Choi Minho confidently displayed his physique, earning cheers from the crowd.
Choi Minho also treated fans to a special performance of SHINee’s hit song “View” and introduced an unreleased track, “You’re Right,” adding a special layer to his Philippine stop.
As the concert neared its end, Choi Minho concluded with “Body Rhythm” and “Choice,” leaving the audience on a high note.
Even though the Philippines marked the final stop of his tour, his energy remains just as high as the first one, living up to his Flaming Charisma nickname and passionate image.
