K-dramas “The Lies Within” and “Gangnam B-Side” are based on his books by the same author. Joo Wol-Woo and Joo Il-Woo (played by Jin Young) are twin brothers. Joo Wol-Woo is mentally challenged and he a murdered. Joo Il-Woo, his brother, knows he was killed because they were talking on the phone ,and he heard him being attacked. The police closed the case as an accident. But Joo Il-Woo tracked down the killer to get revenge. It wasn’t going to be easy because the killer hired another killer to get rid of him.

A 2017 Korean movie: Kids and Family, Comedy, Fantasy, or Supernatural. Lee Suk-Bong (played by Ma Dong-Seok) and Lee Joo-Bong (played by Lee Dong-Hwi) are two brothers who never got along, but they try to get along and peacefully attend their father’s funeral. Although, they didn’t really come to pay their respects. The brothers are keeping secrets from each other.
On their way to the memorial service, they encounter a mysterious woman who keeps appearing in front of them, in various places. They think she’s crazy and creepy. But it turns out she has a secret she wants to tell them.

A 2025 Korean drama series with 50 episodes: Family, Feel-Good, Romance, and Comedy (Rom-Com). Ma Gwang-Sook (played by Uhm Ji-Won) was 45, single, and worked at a post office. Oh Jang-Soo (played by Lee Pil-Mo) is the CEO of Eagle Brewery. His mother died when he and his brothers were young, and he became the primary caretaker. While raising his brothers, he remained single and lived alone. He made frequent trips to the post office because he was attracted to Ma Gwang-Sook. They fell in love and got married. His brothers were so happy that their big brother could finally enjoy happiness. And then he died.
Just like that, Ma Gwang-Sook became a widow. Oh Jang-Soo’s brothers were so distressed and inexperienced that they wanted to give up the brewery. But people accused Oh Jang-Soo of being a scammer, and now that he’s dead, they’ve lost their money. Of course, that wasn’t true.
Even though Ma Gwang-Sook and the brothers were clueless about running a brewery or about the company’s financial position, Ma Gwang-Sook stepped up! She refused to let people sully her husband’s good name and told the Eagle Brothers that she planned to save the business. The brothers didn’t know what they were doing and were not sure if she could do it, but they gave her their full support. Their big brother must have loved her because she is beautiful and she has a fighting spirit.

A 2023 Korean drama series with 16 episodes: Crime, Mystery, Time Travel, Fantasy, or Supernatural. Yook Dong-Joo (played by Jung Woo) and Lee Kang San (played by Bae Hyun-Sung) ~ met in a very unusual way. Although at the time, Yook Dong-Joo just thought he had hit a kid who ran in front of his car. The young man came running out of nowhere. It looked like he had run out of a dark alley, but it was dark and rainy that night, and there was a lightning strike.
Yook Dong-Joo didn’t notice that Lee Kang San had run through a time portal and had jumped into the future, at the exact same time of the lightning strike. Some people in the past were chasing him, intending to kill him, when a hole opened up and Lee Kang San ran through it. Then the hole closed up as quickly as it opened. It’s miraculous!
Yook Dong-Joo took Lee Kang San to the hospital, and he was pronounced dead. Only … dead people can’t talk. Yook Dong-Joo heard someone calling “Brother! Brother!” He approached the bed where the young man was lying dead, leaned in closely to listen, his breath went into the young man’s nostrils, and Lee Kang San opened his eyes. HE’S ALIVE!! Another miracle?
That was the beginning of their relationship. As time went on they realized that their lives were intertwined. When Yook Dong-Joo was a young kid (about 8 to 10 years old), he met Lee Kang San, who was a high school student at the time. But it’s decades later, Yook Dong-Joo is much older, but Lee Kang San is the same age. Surely it’s miraculous! But how can this be, and why did this miracle happen?

Tale of the Nine Tailed S1 (2020) ~ 17 episodes and S2 (2023) ~ 12 episodes; a K-Drama fantasy series about two (2) legendary gumihos (fox brothers). Lee Yeon (played by Lee Dong-wook) is a 1000-year-old Gumiho who was punished for being in love with a human woman. One day, he hopes to meet her again. Lee Yeon has an angry kid brother, Lee Rang (played by Kim Beom,) who feels that his big brother forsook him for a woman.
The kid brother wants revenge, so he follows his brother to the future to try to stop the reunion. There is no way he will live happily ever after. As if living for ten centuries isn’t complicated enough, there was an unexpected turn of events, and both brothers ended up in the year 1938, during the Japanese Occupation of Korea. From the year 2020 to 1938?? Whatever differences they had, needed to be set aside. Japan was their enemy, not each other.

A 2018 Korean drama series, with 32 episodes; Thriller, Suspense, Crime, Mystery, and Comedy. Han Kang-Ho and Han Soo-Ho (played by Yoon Si-Yoon) are twins. One twin has a criminal record, and the other twin is a judge, an evil, corrupt judge. Han Kang-Ho gets released from prison and visits his twin brother’s apartment. He is unaware that his brother, Han Soo-Ho, disappeared on the same day Han Kang-Ho got released from jail. When you’re a crooked judge, you make enemies. People mistook him for his brother.
Rather than explain that it’s a case of mistaken identity, he pretends to be his brother, the judge. He doesn’t know where his brother is, but Judge Han Soo-Ho will probably show up eventually. Right? Meanwhile, Han Kang-Ho (the twin with the criminal record) will sit on the bench without any education, training, or qualifications to serve as a judicial official and … wing it! How hard can the job be? (O.o) He’ll stop pretending when his brother comes back. By the way, where is his brother, and what’s taking him so long to come back? (O.o)
