BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Kicks Off Her 2025 Asia Tour in the Philippines
Jisoo starts her highly anticipated 2025 Asia Tour, “LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last March 14 with the Philippines as her first stop. The concert kicked off with a high-energy performance of her latest track, “Earthquake,” followed by a heartfelt greeting to her audience, expressing her excitement to be in Manila.
The night continued with a fun Q&A session where Jisoo shared more about herself. One of the highlights of the evening was when Jisoo made a personalized acrylic design for a lucky fan. She adorned it with a sticker of Jollibee’s Peach Mango Pie, sharing her love for the dessert after having tried it earlier that day. She also added her photos, wrote her name in Hangul (using a glue gun), a jeepney sticker, and a special note that read, “mahal kita” (I love you), along with her signature.
In an interactive segment, Jisoo even played a game of charades with the audience. The lucky BLINK who won the challenge received the personalized gift as a special keepsake BLACKPINK’s Chichu.
Jisoo also performed live renditions of “Your Love” and “TEARS” for the first time. The audience also sang along when she performed her hit track, “Flower.”
Additionally, Jisoo learned Tagalog words “mahal kita,” “mahal ko kayo,” “masaya ba kayo?” (are you happy?), and “charot.”
As the concert neared its end, Jisoo performed “Hugs & Kisses,” before taking her fans by surprise with an encore: She went around the venue, greeting fans up-close while performing “Eyes On Me.”
As the first stop on her Asia tour, Jisoo’s performance in the Philippines showcased not only her elegance and talent but also her sweet and quirky personality, leaving high expectations for the next countries she’d visit for her solo tour.
