Bendy And The Dark Revival Goes Physical This Fall
In 2017, Joey Drew Studios introduced Bendy And The Ink Machine to the world. Inspired by the bioshock series, the game was a first-person horror puzzler about a retired animator who receives an unexplained invitation calling him back to the studio he once worked for. When he arrives, he finds things VERY different…no one’s around, except for the paranormal presence of the Ink Machine, which is going to make life hard for him.
First released episodically, Bendy And The Ink Machine was eventually compiled into a full game and released that way in 2018. It became an indie sensation, gathering fans, awards, merchandise and even a feature film that is still in development. How could the studio NOT release a sequel?
Bendy and the Dark Revival came out in 2022. Once again an animator is trapped in their own studio, at the mercy of their own creations, but this time it’s Aubrey, a woman. “Solve puzzles, sneak through shadows, battle monstrous enemies, and confront the all-powerful Ink Demon as you search for an escape,” says Joey Drew Studios. It took a while, but a physical version of Bendy and the Dark Revival is officially in the works.

Due out this fall, the physical Bendy and the Dark Revival is being offered in both Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch forms (sorry, XBox players). Preorders are open now at Silver Lining Direct, but we’ve been told only a specific number will be produced.
A third Bendy game, Secrets of the Machine, is in development now.
