But behind his tough exterior lies a secret dream—to leave the underworld behind and write novels inspired by Hemingway. His plans take a sharp turn when he reunites with his first love, Kang Miyoung (Lee Sung Kyung), a singer struggling with stage fright and her own difficult upbringing. As they push each other toward healing and purpose, their journey is threatened by shadows from the past.
